Open Settings › General › Keyboard › Keyboards › Add New Keyboard… and choose Fixly.
Tap Fixly in that list and turn on Allow Full Access (needed for cloud AI and clipboard actions).
On iPhones with Apple Intelligence, AI works right away. Otherwise open Fixly AI › Settings, paste an OpenAI, Gemini or GLM API key and tap Test key.
In any app, tap a text field and switch to Fixly with the 🌐 key.

Frequently asked questions

How do I fix what I just typed?

Finish the sentence, keep the cursor at its end and tap the Fixly button (F✦) on the bar above the keys. Review the result and tap Apply. Tap ↶ to undo.

The cursor is in the middle of a sentence — nothing happens.

Fixly never edits text after the cursor. Select the text you want to fix, then tap an AI action.

Why does Fixly ask for Full Access?

iOS requires it for a keyboard to use the network or clipboard. Fixly uses it only to send the text you choose to your AI provider, to read the clipboard when you tap a Clipboard action, and for haptics. Typing, Telex and suggestions work without it.

Do I need an API key?

Not on iPhones with Apple Intelligence turned on (iOS 26.1 or later) — Fixly uses the on-device model. Otherwise add your own key from OpenAI, Google Gemini or Z.ai GLM in Fixly AI › Settings.

“The API key was rejected”

Open Fixly AI › Settings, tap your provider and use Test key. Create a new key with your provider if needed.

Some apps don’t show Fixly, or Apply copies instead of replacing.

iOS always uses the system keyboard for passwords and phone numbers, and some apps block custom keyboards. Apps like Gmail, WhatsApp or Telegram may hide part of the text — select the text first; if Fixly can’t verify it, the result is copied for you to paste.

Tone marks go on the wrong letter / English words get Vietnamese marks.

Switch tone placement (old/new style) in Fixly AI › Settings › Typing, or tap VI to switch to EN while typing English.

How do I turn off suggestions or word learning?

Fixly AI › Settings › Tính năng (Features) lets you turn off word suggestions, word learning, emoji suggestions, text shortcuts, clipboard actions and quick replies.
